Joint Rate  A rate from a point located on one transportation line to a point on another transportation line which is published in a single tariff.

Just-In-Time (JIT)  In this method of inventory control, warehousing is minimal or non-existent; the container is the moveable warehouse and must arrive "just in time," that is not too early and not too late.
