LOMBARD, IL – The Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) has honoured MOL with the Far East Ocean Carrier of the Year Award, presented at the recent Forwarders Choice Awards Gala.
Established 10 years ago, CIFFA’s Forwarder Choice Awards recognizes the contribution and commitment of carriers. Awards are presented once a year to Ocean, Air and Truck carriers based on the selection/voting of Regular Members located in each of CIFFA’s three regions.
Awards are presented to carriers based on the selection of CIFFA Regular Members for excellence on certain trade lanes. The “Carrier of the Year” is awarded to the air and ocean carrier who has demonstrated the highest degree of professionalism, partnering, and commitment to the industry. Voting criteria focuses on customer service, reliability, documentation accuracy, and account management:
- Customer Service/Call Center. The carrier that offers the best call center support for bookings and tracking/tracing capabilities.
- Moved as Booked. The carrier that is the most reliable in moving cargo as originally scheduled.
- Frequency. The carrier with the best offering in scheduled departures and most extensive on-forwarding network.
- Accuracy of Documentation. The carrier that provides the most accurate document preparation and invoicing, including dispute resolution.
- Sales representative/account management. The carrier that provides the best sales representation and overall account management.
