MOL Announces Asia – Europe General Rate Increase (GRI)

May 28 - Hong Kong - Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. has announced that effective July 1, 2010, (Bill of Lading date) the company will

increase ocean freight rates for all cargo types including reefer containers originating from Asia (including Japan and Indian

Subcontinent) and exported to Europe North Continent and Mediterranean as follows:

 

 

 

All originating from

Asia (including Japan) / Indian Subcontinent

To

Europe North Continent / Mediterranean

GRI – 250 USD per TEU 

 

 

In addition, as from 1st of July the 40ft highcube additional will be increased by USD 100. Due to the continuing demand for this equipment type

and the expected shortage in the summer peak season, the increase is necessary to provide a reliable service.
